I did this tag last year around this time and wow, time really does fly! 😮 Looking back I didn’t quite manage to stick to my goals and plans I wrote for myself last year, though there’s always a new year to try again I guess 😉 Let’s get to it!
1. Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
I originally planned on finishing the Heralds of Valdemar before I go to Thailand next month, though right now that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen as I’ve still got a long way to go with that 😛 So now I am starting into my holiday TBR as it is getting closer to my time to go away (wow time really does fly!) and I have ordered way more for my holiday than I originally intended. It’s just a mission to get as many books finished as possible!
2. Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?
This had a magical sort of narrative which I like for this time of year when the seasons are changing. There were many things I did like about this though a lot of things I found tedious too cause I felt this went on for a bit too long. Still worth the read though.
3. Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
I’m basically drawn to the Inception mentioning in the description cause from what I have read this seems like it could be a mind bending, philosophical adventure as well as original. Time will tell, time will tell…
4. What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
TBR’s are things I never seem to be able to commit to, but because I will be going away quite soon I feel I need to start on this long holiday TBR that I let grow too big and though it doesn’t seem very likely that I’ll finish all on the full TBR in the time I have, I will make a start on that mountain now as I seem to be really enjoying reading these days. 🙂
5. Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?
Hmm… not sure because the book I put for this prompt last year ended up being a DNF. I’m just going to keep open minded.
6. Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?
Try to get the Heralds of Valdemar finished once and for all as well as the Dazzling Heights and really I’ll see after I return home which books I’ve had out the longest or which books have been ordered. I won’t make any proper TBR’s because I already know my likeliness of sticking to them! 😉
