WWW Wednesday (11/9/19)

WWW Wednesday is a bookish meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words

It consists on answering these three questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently reading

The Night Circus

Only just started on this one and after all the glowing reviews I’ve read about beautiful writing and interesting magic, I have very high expectations for this one! This has been listed as magical realism and fantasy and most of the time I forget the difference between them and this is also set in a historical setting which can prove to be exciting or very boring. I am looking forward to getting into this though as I’ve seen it so many times on Bookstagram and Tumblr so there have to be reasons for that….

Recently finished

The House of Hades (The Heroes of Olympus, #4)

Loved the action and ending to this and need to get on to the next book. There were times in the middle where I thought things felt a bit unreal with all the life and death situations the characters faced and how they were all basically cool about them, but there again this is obviously how the author writes and what life faced with many perils is like, you just have to make light of every situation 😛 The awesomeness at the end made up for any doubts I had though still I won’t rate this 5 stars, I will recommend this author to any fantasy reader of any age!

What I think I’ll read next

The Blood of Olympus (The Heroes of Olympus, #5)

I am so so so wanting to know how everything ends for these characters and I kind of feel I’ll miss them once this series is over 😦 But anyway I need to finish this series as soon as possible really because of due dates and all, but I know I can get this book out again, I’m just saying these TBR’s I plan hardly ever really go according to plan 😛 Oh yes I have one hell of a lot of reading to do…

  1. I still have to read The Night Circus, so I’ll be looking forward to seeing what you think! I’ve been putting it off a little because there’s so much hype and pressure to read it! But eventually I will. :3 I really need to give Rick Riordan a try at some point, since I hear so many really enjoy his books, and I do have a couple lying around the house here. Happy reading!

    Here’s my WWW post.
