WWW Wednesday (4/9/19)

WWW Wednesday is a bookish meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words

It consists on answering these three questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently reading

Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #3)

I was hoping that starting a new book would have helped me out of this miniature slump I seem to be in, but I seem to be making even slower progress with this than Rebel Spring :/ I just don’t seem to be feeling compelled to read and when I do read I don’t seem to get much reading done! I have a feeling this is because of my latest obsession to buy ethnic clothes online and I have a few books and clothes on the way to me in the post as we speak, so perhaps that’s what is distracting me from reading? My main hopes are to really immerse myself in this story and characters and try in any way I can to rekindle my love for this author and her works. There are just so many books I need to finish at the moment too…

Recently finished

Rebel Spring (Falling Kingdoms, #2)

A decent read even if this may be the book that has made me go into a kind of mini slump 😛 Like I have said before this is a series I will definitely continue but I don’t think I’ll pick the next book up anytime soon mostly because of the monstrous pile of books I have from my libraries at this present moment. This is still a much recommended series and like I said in my review I don’t think these books are as predictable as most say and the characters are just superb. Until next time.

What I think I’ll read next

The House of Hades (The Heroes of Olympus, #4)

It has been over 3 months and I haven’t touched a single book from my college library! 😮 Well now it’s high time I did! I even had a kind of dream about this book and the final one in the series last night so I’m going to take that as a sign that I need to read these books and get them finished soon. I would also like to take this time to totally recommend this author and his books to basically everyone who loves a good adventure and I should be desperate to read this after that cliffhanger we got after the third book! 😉

  1. I hope you will be able to get out of your slump soon! Maybe picking up a different book or an old favorite would do the trick? Have a wonderful week and happy reading! Here’s my WWW.

  2. Good luck with your slump! Hope it ends soon. I’m still one of those people who haven’t read a single Rick Riordan book, and I’m sort of disappointed in myself just saying that. xD I’m glad to hear you recommending him, though! I recently grabbed a couple of his books, so I hope to try them soon. They look so good. :3 happy reading!

    Here’s my WWW post.
