Down the TBR Hole is a bookish tag created by Lost in a Story It is made to help us shorten our ever growing TBR piles!
Here’s how it works:
- Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 or 15 or 20, if you’re feeling adventurous) books
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
- Keep track of where you left off so you can pick up there next week!
Currently on my TBR: 1113 books

I have said in previous posts that nowadays I am no longer intrigued by spy thrillers or most children’s books and that’s what some of these are. I do like dystopian books and the like and with Program 13 the premise did sound like it could be good but there are many negative reviews on Amazon saying these books aren’t worth the money and that there is poor character development. I think for the time being I’ll pass, same goes for the Gene Pull which seems readily available on Amazon as a kindle and physical book but the premise doesn’t drag me in as much as it once did and it’s not a very long book anyway so for now I don’t think it is worth the money. Bones of Faerie I am so disappointed to be getting rid of because it both now and then sounds like the book I’d devour, I mean faeries and the apocalypse? YES! Unfortunately though these books are not really available on Amazon as either paperbacks or kindle versions and I don’t think despite everything that they sound so amazing that I’d want to buy them from afar… 😛 So yeah, the rest I have no longer any interest in and still I am gutted about Bones of Faerie 😦

The Prey and World After are sequels I want to read this year as I want to finish off as many series as I can in my new years resolutions and while I found the first books in both these series average, I still am curious to see where the author will take things. Earthfall is one I have been meaning to get from my library for a long time and while I wasn’t too keen on this authors HIVE first book, I still think both that series and this one are worth giving a chance to. I probably won’t be reading Earthfall for a while now because I planned on finishing off previous series I’ve already started but this one is most certainly still in my radar 🙂
