This is another fabulous tag I spied on Thrice Read and it was originally created by Bookish Pisces. It is about showcasing past, present and future titles that are on our TBR’s or could be added to them 🙂

RULES:

  • 🔮Find a book published 10 (or more) years ago
  • 🔮Find a book that will be published THIS year.
  • 🔮Find a book that will be published next year (or further in the future)
  • 🔮Tag 3 people

PAST

Swallows and Amazons (Swallows and Amazons, #1)

(first published 1930)

I have this entire series at my house as they were a favourite of my dad when he was a child. I also intended to read these books a long time ago but never got by to it as life and other books would always get in the way, but quite a few of the older generation I know have really enjoyed the adventure and genius of these books saying it is obvious the author had a passion for boats and the sea. I will read these, probably not for a long time but definitely one day.

PRESENT

Eve of Man

(Published May 31st 2018)

This sounds like yet another book that is in vein of the Handmaid’s Tale, but to me this one sounds like it could be better (I wasn’t very fond of the Handmaid’s Tale). I saw this one around the shops I went to and saw various adverts and book trailers online which did a really good job of making the plot look really intense. I hope this will be as dark and exciting as everything hints at it to be 😉

FUTURE

Descendant of the Crane

(Expected publication: April 2nd 2019)

From what I’ve seen it looks like 2019 is going to be a good year for diverse/culturally inspired fantasies 😀 My only hope is that they’ll be available where I am so my library can get them in, but I cannot say enough how much I love learning about other cultures mythology through one of the things I love most: fiction books. This will be high on my TBR and I’ll be waiting all so patiently for these amazing books to come out…

I tag…

  1. Those who have TBR’s taller than a mountain.
  2. Those who would like to do this tag…
  3. And those who are “patient” when it comes to those awesome new releases 😉
