WWW Wednesday #37 (25/7/18)

WWW Wednesday is a bookish meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words

It consists on answering these three questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently reading

The Way We Fall (Fallen World, #1)

I’ve only just started this today but so far not a lot has happened except the writing establishing the scene and characters. I don’t know what to expect from this as there are many different opinions on this but at the same time it’s not a very long book so it should be finished soon.

 Recently finished

Fragments (Partials Sequence, #2)

This was quite a slog to get through compared to the first book. There is action and suspense in the writing but the plot isn’t the most interesting because a lot of it consisted of travel not to mention I found the outcome of this book quite strange 😛 We did get answers to most of the questions raised in the beginning and I most certainly do want to finish this series cause this author does know how to surprise!

The Revolution of Ivy (The Book of Ivy, #2)

The first book was quite a pleasant surprise despite it not being filled with the same sort of plot and action most dystopian novels are familiar with. I have been waiting too long to read this because the ending of the first book… THAT ENDING!! So so so many feels for me, but I’ll also add I notice this book has a lower general rating on GR than the previous one… I’ll just have to wait and see 😉
