WWW Wednesday is a bookish meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words
It consists on answering these three questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
I know this was not on my monthly tbr but there had been some confusion, I initially ran out of time with my college library books and took them back, but something told me to ask if I had to return them because I am definitely going back to college next academic year. You’ll never believe it they said I could keep them over the summer break and not only that but I was allowed an extra one on top of my six too!! 😀 But because I thought I had to return all the college library books, I started on this one instead never thinking of this amazing outcome 😀 At the moment this book is okay but definitely not as exciting as I assumed after the build up from the first one… I highly doubt I’ll DNF though as the writing is very rich.
This is a book I feel deserves every ounce of credit it has gotten. I’m not joking. The writing, plot and characters are so well crafted that even when not a lot was going on the reader was still compelled to carry on reading. In fact I don’t think I’ve come across any reviews who say this is boring despite it’s monstrous length.. I myself will most certainly look for more in my library from this author because even though this didn’t frighten me, I still think there is a reason Stephen King is such a famous writer and his books definitely deserve the praise and hype they get.
What I think I’ll read next
I have read this a long time ago and marked it as a favourite. Now I have the sequel and hardly remember this book only that it was totally original, imaginative, deep and exciting. It’s not a big book in fact it was quite a quick fast paced read when I read it years ago. I just hope things will be just as amazing as I found them the first time and that nothing will be “spoiled” in my reread 😛 Have you read this book? what did you think?
