My life/ books I’ve finished

This past week has been the first week of my two week Easter break and surprisingly I haven’t managed to properly finish any books 😮 😛 I did decide to read the rest of Terrier by Tamora Pierce as despite the fact I DNFed it I was still curious as to what happens next etc. Even though the book was still completely boring for the most part, I am glad I decided to read the rest and for some bizarre there’s this kind of curiosity to read on in the series 😛 Does it get better? Or was the first book the “best”?

I have also been rather busy in the week too with both my support workers coming round and helping me organise the house and showing me how to make healthy meals. I rather enjoyed those times and next week we’ll be going to the library to find out how I can volunteer there and maybe one day (if my toes aren’t hurting too much) go for a walk in the nearby woods 😀 with her gorgeous dogs too of course 😉 We hope we can also use my bus pass for means to get around as my support worker said there were loads of lovely walks in my local area which we can’t wait to explore and it would also help my confidence to familiarise myself with the local bus routes and how to read timetables (don’t laugh). My family have no plans on how to celebrate this Easter Sunday except maybe go out, and I’m not allowed any Easter eggs or chocolate as mum says we’d be paying for the packaging and I’m not a kid anymore 😛 Oh well….

Because of this two week break from college I’d have thought I’d have finished loads of books on my tbr but I haven’t even finished one! 😮 I suppose I can only hope I finish more books this coming week as it seems again I have a busy week ahead 😛

Books I’ve recently added to my tbr

Ignited (Dance of the Elements, #1)Fight for Freedom (Gladiator, #1)The Goldsmith's Daughter

Ignited by A.M. Deese

I can’t believe I missed a chance to get an Advanced Copy of this one! 😮 It sounds sooo good and exactly my type of book with a different fantasy setting to the usual European sorts. This should definitely be one to look out for!

Fight for Freedom by Simon Scarrow

This is one I’ve seen quite a few times in my library but in the past never payed that much attention to. But after reading the premise I know this is a series I have to try one day 😛

The Goldsmith’s Daughter by Tanya Landman

Oh I was so excited when I saw that my library has a copy of this! 😀 As I’ve said I’m on the lookout at the moment for young adult historical fiction of any kind, but this one features an exotic location and an exotic culture, definitely good holiday reading material 🙂

How has your week been? What are your plans for Easter? 🙂
